Description: To demonstrate beats, place a small piece of clay on the top of one of the beat forks.
Strike both and students should be able to hear the compound effect of both waves creating beats.
Note: Have the open end of the box pointed toward the class so they can hear them better.
It works better to place the small piece of clay near the top of the beat fork.
