Description: This demo shows the magnetic field lines of a magnet on the overhead projector.
Equipment:
- Cow magnet or bar magnet
- Array of arrows (small compasses)
- Overhead Projector
- Electric Magnetizer
Setup Procedure:
- If using the bar magnet, use the electric magnetizer to magnetizer it.
- Place on the overhead projector and focus.
Demonstration Procedure:
- Turn the projector on.
- Place the magnet on or near the array of arrows to visually show the direction of magnetic field lines.
