Description: This Van de Graff accessory shows how similarly charged fibers behave in proximity.

Demonstration Setup:

1. Place the streamers on the dome of the Van de Graff generator
2. Discharge the dome with the grounded wand

Demonstration Procedure:

1. Turn on the Van de Graff generator
2. Note how the initially uncharged fibers begin to collect similar charges
3. These charged fibers then repel each other and rise
4. When finished turn off the generator and discharge using the grounded wand
