8B10.50 – Sun spots

Description: This demo shows a projected image of the sun on a viewing screen.

Demonstration Procedure:

1. Align the star hopper scope with the sun
2. Place the white board panel at a distance away from the viewfinder so that the image of the sun is in focus
3. Observe the features of the projected sun image

Notes: Never look directly at the sun through the viewfinder
