6F10.10-Addition of Primary Colors

Description: This demonstration shows how lights of primary colors combine to create different colors.

Equipment:

• Primary Color Lights
• Power supply
• Projector Screen

Setup Procedure:

1. Aim the three lights in the orientation shown above
2. Adjust the power of the lights to be approximately matched and clearly show the color combinations

Demonstration Procedure:

1. Turn on the lights
2. Note the addition of the three primary colors (see picture).
3. Optionally, adjust the lights to show a specific combination over a larger area
