Demo Description
A set of magnetic posts and a loop of string for drawing ellipses on chalkboards and whiteboards.
Equipment:
- Magnetic Posts (set of 2)
- String loop
- Chalk or whiteboard markers, depending on the room it will be used in.

Setup Procedure
- Set out the equipment for the professor, either on the chalkboard/whiteboard itself or on the desk.
Demo Procedure
- Put the magnetic posts on the board, and loop the string on them.
- Using your chalk or whiteboard marker, start at one of the posts and try to draw a round shape. You will find that you draw an ellipse every time.
